Queen Anne's and Monarchs - 20" x 24" - Plein Air Oil on Linen - $6,500.
While painting this along the coast in Port Clyde, Maine, the monarch butterflies flew around me as if in a dance,
so I put a few of them in the scene.

Tony D'Amico, Hodges Soileau and Don Demers, I found this wonderful path that is pure "old Florida."

"The natural beauty of Caspersen Beach, in Venice, Florida,
was gifted to the city by the Caspersen Family for twenty years,
then was purchased by Sarasota County in 80's.
It is the longest stretch of beach in Sarasota County, and a favorite of many painters,
including me. I have painted the beach for over 30 years, and never tire of its ever-changing shoreline."
